MOUDA 5TH IN LA BAULE

A masterful clear by Mouda Zeyada and Galanthos Shk put them through to the jump off in the 5* GP of La Baule. A subsequent speedy 4-faults landed the pair in fifth place, out of a total of 16 participants.

TEAM EGY AT CSIO ST. GALLEN

The Egyptian national team finished fourth after 2 rounds of competition in difficult conditions at the CSIO in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The rain-soaked grass arena made it difficult to deliver, but two clears in the first round from Karim El Zoghby and Nayel Nassar helped Team EGY stay ahead of the pack for much of the competition. WINNERS WEAR SAKKARA

Sakkara riders Mouda Zeyada and Maysam Bisharat made the most of the 2019-2010 UAE international showjumping circuit, delivering consistent and exceptional performances across 2, 3, 4 and 5* competitions. Highlights for Maysam Bisharat include a 5th place finish in the 4* Al Shira’aa Grand Prix, as well as 3rd in the 5* President of the UAE Cup. Mouda finished top of the podium in the Mini Grand Prix of Al Shira’aa and the accompanying puissance class. He then put in back to back first place wins in Sharjah and topped off his UAE tour with a win in the 5* President of the UAE Cup and a 2nd place finish with the Egyptian team in the Nations Cup.
Both Mouda and Maysam qualified for the Longines FEI World Cup Final in Las Vegas, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

TEAM EGY AT THE UAE NATIONS CUP

The collective talents of Mouda Zeyada, Mohamed Talaat, Abdel Said and Mohamed Osama El Boraie drove the Egyptian national team to a podium finish in the UAE Nations Cup on February 29th. Against the likes of New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Germany and host nation, the UAE, Team Egypt overcame an early disadvantage with a first round elimination to secure its place at the Nations Cup in Barcelona later this year. New Zealand won the Nations Cup for the second time, while hosts UAE finished in third.

EGYPT QUALIFIES FOR 2020 OLYMPICS

The concerted efforts of Mohamed Taher Zeyada, Abdel Said, Nayel Nassar and Sameh El Dahan landed the Egyptian showjumping team on the winners podium at the CSIO 4* Nations Cup in Rabat. The second leg of 2019 Morocco Royal Tour pitted the Group F nations against each other for olympic qualification; Egypt finished in first place with Qatar in second, securing their spots for the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo. The vision for the new kit for team Jordan was contemporary and athletic with a nod to the kingdom’s equestrian heritage and history. The showjumping team stood out in their vibrant red show jackets and accompanying accessories, which were debuted at the CSIO Nations Cup in Rabat. SAKKARA GOES TO WEG

As the apparel partner of the Egyptian showjumping team, Sakkara's WEG experience was second to none. With a unified look, including brand new show jackets, the team not only looked the part, but also performed with incredible consistency and confidence. Team Egypt finished 12th out of 25 ahead of nations like Brazil, Italy and Mexico, and all the participating individual riders finished in the top 55 out of 126 competitors.

Set in the idyllic Ecuries D'Ecaussinnes, Sakkara had the privilege to present an exceptional equestrian educational experience combining Olympic level guidance, courtesy of Philippe Rozier and Jean-Maurice Bonneau, with an amazing post-ride atmosphere organized by EEM.
